i'm always looking for new f/f dynamics to write but find it very difficult to write unless i really know a group well. this is why i always go back to oh my girl yubin/jiho.... i tend to go for pairings that either: know each other so well that the line between friendship and romance is difficult to distinguish, OR don't know how to communicate with each other and sit on the triple intersection of 'we mean nothing to each other' / 'tentative friendship' / '???love????'.
besides oh my girl, i've written for pristin, stayc, le sserafim, twice, itzy, etc. i definitely want to write more lsfm! these days my favorite gg tinhat is omgeol yubin/wkmk suyeon so i will truly take any excuse to write them, especially considering an average of 0.1 people will read fic for them otherwise ♡ (i'm also open to writing tinhet for this fest...)
also! generally i love the themes of the songs in this playlist. it's a lot of sad girl repression/wanting ngl but you can't write if you can't feel!

i was signed up for ggjb a few years ago then chickened out but outside of passing side ships in fic, i've never actually written (read: posted) ggfic. hoping to finally crack that egg! the groups i follow closest are twice and deukae, with gahyeon/sana/siyeon/nayeon POVs being the most of interest.
i'm mostly interested in the glass cage of idolverse/canon, but i've always wanted to write a dark comedy or horror.
also interested in:

i went through the anime-to-kpop pipeline and i still dabble in anime/manga so you will find that a lot of my works may draw inspiration from those sources. one of the things i love most is exploring slice of life (au and canon compliant/idolverse) & pieces of every day to explore themes like nostalgia, longing, and youth.
at the moment, i'm primarily a loona writer! i lean towards combinations of leader line (yves/lip/haseul) among other ships but since i enjoy most of the combinations i'm game for anything really!
in the future i'd like to explore prompts for wjsn (especially dawon ship) & dreamcatcher (jiyoo, jibo, and suayeon to name a few). i have a few drafts but i haven't felt confident enough in my characterizations to follow through on them yet. additionally i'd be interested in writing jiminjeong (aespa), xiaoting/chaehyun (kepler), ryuryeong (itzy), and soofany (snsd).
would love to try writing settings that aren't slice of life to step out of my comfort zone, like fantasy leaning or some light sci-fi. a little afraid because world building isn't not my strength but you can't get better at something without doing it i guess.........

i am primarily a twice writer but i sometimes write for loona! i really like writing weird aus but i do also enjoy writing things where nothing happens at all!!! i also do want to try writing for other fandoms but i get stuck on 'characterisation' of idols i dont know ;-; im sure that can be fixed by reading everyone's works in this fest tho :D
things i want to see more of is gen fic! gen fic is great! gen fic is so wonderful! we should all try some gen fic! or poly! poly has usch an interesting dynamic depending on what members you write, i think it would be great fun to write/read!

i've written for twice and loona but would love to expand to 4th gen ggs as well (itzy/lsrfm/nmixx/aespa/etc). recently i've been super enamored by themes of distance/observation/longing/self recognition through the other which i would soooo love to read and write for. some examples:
- practice rooms as liminal spaces built to physically mirror you and the people you're training with
- processing your precarious adolescence and unrooting the internal damage it left in you
- following the footsteps of older trainees only to end up on a cliff of your own making
- being proud of your friend/teammate for their popularity and accomplishments while simultaneously feeling envious and inferior about it
- blurred line between idolsona idiosyncrasies and real life (?) personality
- aftermath of a member's departure
- a leap of faith and all its permutations

I’ve written for a variety of fandoms, but for girl groups I’m most comfortable writing Loona and have no preference in terms of ships/members—if it’s anything Loona I’ll love it. I have written some SNSD in the past specifically Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica. Mamamoo is a group I’m also comfortable and familiar with, though I’ve not written any fic yet. For reading, I’m game for reading most fandoms and happy to read canon-blind.
Red Velvet (Joohyun/Seulgi) and Twice (any pairings) are two groups I’d like to challenge myself to write.

groups that i love, as far as music is concerned...endless: twice, rv, stayc, everglow, purple kiss, snsd, exid, deukae, mamamoo...and now im actively trying not to mention disbanded groups ;__;
as for writing, while I'm comfortable with twice, everglow, stayc, red velvet, i tend to hesitate a lot with ggfic especially those with intragroup dynamics so I'm hoping to really get past that block with this space.
otherwise, i have written random crossovers for ggfic which bring me great joy and indulgence..(taeyeon/heize?? sunmi/hani? any takers?!)
even if I don't end up writing anything, the most k-pop fic i read consistently now, post pandemic, is gg fic. I've just found it be that much more fresh and engaging...so! looking forward to the fest!

hello, i'm care :~) fromis is my main gg and the one i write for the most ("the most" being 1 time, currently), but i am a big fan of iz*one + all their post-disbandment projects so i'm open to exploring any of those girls in a pd48/iz*/current group-or-solo capacity. also same age crossover pairings + friendships!!! 00z are always my fave, as my ao3 @ suggests, but i also like a lot of 98z and 03z.
several people have described my fic as bittersweet, which makes me B) because i feel it's super fitting for the stories i like to tell — common themes include reunions/reconciliation and stepping out of one's comfort zone, which work both in idolverse and AU. in terms of ggfic, the 'you vs you vs you' corner of the bleak gg bingo is my bread and butter <3 writing-wise, i also lean heavily toward genfic or ships that are romantic if you squint, but truly i'm open to reading most things

most of the stuff i write tends to run introspective and sentimental. too many nature metaphors, lyrics for titles (and adjoining parentheses), chronic em dash user and i won't stop
i like feeling challenged (i'm an aries), so i'd really like to take prompts out of my wheelhouse, whether that be plot/setting/dynamic/etc! they'll probably still have too many em dashes and nature metaphors though

For lssfm I am definitely most interested in chaewon/yunjin, not super sure where my twice vibes are at (YET). With girl groups in particular I'd love to explore the pressures of idolverse, the eternal "do I want to be her or do I like her" sapphic struggle, media narratives of empowerment/feminism constraining against the limits of idoldom, but also I would love to just write fluff/romance with women because thus far I have only written fic about men

atm the top 5 ggs i've been listening to are rv, twice, fromis_9, wjsn, and stayc. for rpf i'm most comfortable writing fromis! i have lots of favorite dynamics among them and too many ideas that have remained unwritten (hopefully not for long?) but keep multiplying, so it's a fun time 🫶 other groups i've written for are loona, itzy, and deukae, though i feel like with loona and itzy at least, i only have a real handle on a few members/pairings.
two groups i'd like to challenge myself write are wjsn and stayc. i just feel like i'm not sufficiently Knowledgeable enough yet.... for lots of other ggs i have vague interest but not so great grasp on personalities/group dynamics. some pairings i think deserve more love are rarepairs!!! and crossovers!! i really enjoy reading ggfic for literally any group - even when im not the most familiar with them, it's always a pleasure to be immersed in the stories of someone who is :')
i'd love to see more aus of any kind! two particular ones i've been dying to write/read are a road trip au or an unconventional soulmates au. any others you can think of like sci-fi/secret agents/superhero/magical realism/etc are all fun too. one dynamic i haven't written but would like to is one tense with rivalry/competition and all the threads of mutual obsession that stem from that. i think i tend to write about pining, and generally i have the most fun writing giddy/light-hearted things :)

my favorite groups right now are wjsn (my girls 4ever!!) itzy, blackpink and dreamcatcher, but other ones i’m fond of include: gidle, le sserafim, twice, red velvet, fromis, etc etc. i just really like 2nd/3rd gen ggs + a few of the early 4th gen girlies.
i’ve written for an insane amount of ggs during my 10+ years as a fic writer, but as soon as i met wjsn they have remained my favorite. i love their insane dynamics, insane stories and the insane different types of chemistry they have with each other overall. i also like writing for itzy, but mostly lia ships because that’s my babygirl.
as for other groups, i’d like to write chaesoo/jensoo, purinz, mimin, minayeon and sieumin fic one day because they’re probably my favorite ships outside of my wujuitzy bubble. i’d also like to write more crossover ships because 1. i love coming up with random ships between pretty girls and 2. i really enjoyed it when i tried my hand at eunseo/yeji and lia/rosé in the past.
my favorite tropes (and the tropes i want to write) are always changing, mostly according to what type of media i’m obsessed with, so currently i have: superhero aus, fame/band aus, agents aus, fantasy aus of any kind… yeah, anything along these lines. maybe i am a nerd after all
a genre i’d love to see more of in girl group fic is any sort of magic/power/fantasy aus because i’m obsessed with them but i feel that not everyone shares the same sentiment… T_T
and lastly, a secret girl group fact i want more people to know about is that yoo yeonjung is god and deserves to be recognized as such. thank you! <3

honestly, i might stay on the prompting side (because of irl scheduling conflicts), but i'll keep an eye out for any juicy moonsun/chuuves/lipsoul/heechuu prompts~
writing-wise, i absolutely adore pairings that are so closely intertwined that the line between romantic and platonic becomes blurred. 'like attracts like' is just sooo !! it does something to my brain! which is maybe why I also really like writing about grief and feeling as though you've lost a bit of yourself when that person is gone from your life. (sorry, fluff enjoyers. i promise i love writing very tender and sweet things too)
ooh, another thing I'd love to write for this is horror! i'd be happy to inject a little 'the magnus archives' flavour into a pairing, ohoho ^^

unfortunately loona is the only gg i’ve posted fic for…maybe this fest will help me break out of my self-inflicted shell! since loona is one of my ult groups i’m super comfortable with them and open to a bunch of their pairings but i’d like to try to write for other ggs i like a lot: itzy, everglow, and purplekiss (i miss jieun soooo much ;-;).
from looking at my published loona works i seem to be drawn to slice of life, introspection, dynamics being in flux, and comphet. overall though i like writing silliness and humor, and incorporating those things into situations that Could be more serious (is it obvious that i don’t like being too serious lmao). my favorite themes in the overarching girl group canon are: what does it mean to be feminine aka gender conformity/nonconformity, everyday practical and emotional limitations to idol life, you vs you (vs you?).
i love some good hero/villain or person saved/knight in shining armor but have yet to write it. i wouldn’t mind trying gen fic as well. lia/yuna is a pairing that i wanna see more of, IM BEGGING ON MY KNEES…also hyunjin/vivi is lovely and so underrated, my fav loona rarepair!!! AND aisha/e:u because of the size difference like get into itttt. i’m not familiar with the state of gg fic as a whole but i guess i can say that i hope to see more love triangles ending in polyamory or just more polyam in general. yay women!!!

deukae (rarepair-focused mostly especially if the ship involves gahyeon) and aespa (basically any karina ship) are my two main muses but i have written fics for wjsn and fromis and my most recently (publically) published fic is an ALICE/ELRIS fic because they're the nugu girls of my heart, ive also been curious abt billlie but don't know a lot about them and the lore seems interesting but VERY complicated.
things i love writing
- unconventional meetcutes/meetuglies, unconventional tropes in general!
- urban fantasy especially if it involves human/monster romance and aspects of this played for laughs (ex. werewolf that has beef with local neighborhood dogs, vampire on a college campus having to avoid a blood drive, etc.)
- smut with feelings
- been more into writing some ~self-reflective~ idolverse lately too so i'm willing to dip my toes into that too
honestly id just love to see more of this sort of fic in gg fandoms as well as just more thoughtfully/"smart" comedic fic in general!
