i don't think i've changed too much since last time, which means oh my girl jiho/yubin (who i said i'd stop writing), and possibly others like ryuryeong, stayc sieumin/suchae, etc. i do like to write one-off ggs but i have such a compulsion for canonicity that it's hard to do for the groups i follow more casually. i would like to write 94z friend group (seulgi mijoo hyojung youngji) but mostly seulgi because i think she has so much potential.... idk her that well but i have watched a lot of her vlogs. honestly i need to write seulrene so bad

i always write "do i want to be her or be with her"! but also someone rt-ed this recently and i think it's a great source of inspiration

hii, i’m very new to this. this will be my first time doing this fest!

i gravitate towards kiof (julie and natty or julie and belle focused) purki (swan and chaein), and illit (yunah and minju). i have yet to step out of my comfort zone but i absolutely adore fromis_9 and would love to write about them too. i’m open to trying anything honestly. i’m very openminded about writing something for gfriend.. seeing that video of yerin, sinb, and sowon flickered a switch in my brain that hasn’t gone off since.

as dw user flover i am in fact most in my wheelhouse writing fromis, but also i love ive and nmixx + i think a lot about groups/soloists who came from the produce-style survival shows. big fan of crossover pairings (guy who is obsessed with jiheon x wonyoung), and i want to branch out more into writing gg idols with their cross-group friends (partial to 98, 00, and 03/04 liners). depending on the prompts that come in, maybe i'll get to tinker with some cross-group canon + AU ideas i've been collecting... the more niche the merrier...

I mostly write aespa and dreamcatcher, but I've dabbled in plenty of other ggs too; fromis, everglow, bandit, loona...the list goes on! my entry in 2023 was my first foray into writing billlie fic!

Last year I didn't really write or create much. It was just a really stressful year for me, but now I've been trying to get back into the swing of things! I want to write more billlie (mainly sua/tsuki), but this year I've also started getting into other ggs after not doing so for a long time: I finally took the plunge and started getting into the STAYC members and wrote a fic after being a casual listener for years, and a friend roped me into TripleS (possible Soxinz fic brewing??)

As for my motifs, I definitely have 2 big things I love writing: fantasy/sci-fi and, for lack of a better word, "porn with feelings." Idk, when in doubt I just love writing 2 (or more...) girls having fun together!! Sue me!

I do wanna write a little more than JUST smut this year, I've got a tentative challenge to create an maybe-overarching DnD 5e-themed girl group-verse since I've started playing DnD with a group again.

Honestly I feel like Dungeons and Dragons universe fantasy is so underutilized in gg fic, really. Or AUs involving a girl group being a dungeons and dragons group playing together! I feel like it's a really fun idea, especially since DnD groups are always so rife with drama and relationships (if you've watched a DnD horror stories video on YouTube...you know). I'd love to see more of that in gg fic.

hello, i'm aries! i'll be my first time participating in this fest and this is my second fest i'm joining in the hopes that it will aid me in getting out of my writer's block!

hii everyone! i just reread my 2023 intro and funnily enough my preferences are still my preferences....i think i'll gravitate to 4th gen ggs (aespa/nmixx/ive/itzy) but who knows maybe my 2nd and 3rd gen hags will call to me again.

although i love aus i'll always be an idolverse gal at heart when it comes to kfic. at the core of it the tension boils down to "would you choose love over success/your group" which is...yeah :') love pitted against duty and responsibility and dreams etc etc

hi! this is my first time participating but i am not new to idol RPF madness lol! i really love delving into personal conflicts caused by the industry and being in the middle of it, exploring how it affects relationships and how an idol sees herself. i'm into girl groups, not just korean, and i'll write for basically anything i love. these days i've been obsessed with miyawaki sakura thorugh the lens of "in LE SSERAFIM but shaped by her HKT48/48g days" and that has come out in the form of me writing deranged fic and conceptualizing even more deranged fic with my friend god bless.

also i think at least one person here has probably been involved in bleak boy band bingo and i just wanna say i have the GG prompt list for that saved in obsidian and me and my friend love to read it for ideas lol

infrequency and i've mostly written twice and deukae, but i have been slow dripping le sserafim content lately.

i've mostly stuck to AUs for girl groups, but i want to challenge myself with idolverse (perhaps BBB-isms) - particularly a "what if?"/canon divergence situation with foreign idols or idols who studied abroad (yoohyeon, yunjin, misamo, etc.) it's just a fun route of thought to me!

i think i prompted for last round but chickened out with writing any fills so hoping i get to carve out some time this round!

i mostly write for wjsn at the moment, although i tune into a number of other girl groups across 3rd and 4th gen that i can be convinced to dip my toes into. i’m a sucker for exploring the fun and not-so-fun parts of idolverse (that is to say, the bingo board up above is driving me insane). something that’s been on my mind lately is the concept of (familial) love as a duty and how pursuing idolhood comes into conflict with cultural expectations, bigger picture worries because being an idol can be a pretty dream for a little kid but what about putting food on the table? another interesting idea i’d love to see tackled is parasocial relationships on the idol’s side because they are very much dependent on nameless, faceless fans that they do not know personally.

i also do hope to write at least one (1) fluffy fic this year in any universe and maybe dgf will push me to get that out of the way early?

i love the line about pursuing idol life conflicting with cultural expectations, how it's a bright-eyed dream when younger but as you get older you start to think about the realistic parts of it, of living as an idol and how that not only conflicts with the expectations of others, but the expectations for yourself. the bleaker parts of idol are close to my heart too!

tbh… i mostly write kink fic (i Love femdom especially…) but as far as themes go i like getting into experience differences, whether it’s in sex or life. like whether it comes from age, or a sheltered upbringing, or class differences, or if because someone is a foreigner that hasn’t grown up with all this cultural context, i think it’s fun to get into the ways in which people can learn from each other.

i've been in a bit of a writing slump (college, job hunting, health issues and overall shit life has been throwing at me nonstop for the past year... lol) but as soon as my friend told me this fest was coming back i couldn't resist showing up for it!!

- as usual, i like writing wjsn the most! snsd, itzy and dreamcatcher too!

- i want to challenge myself to write triples!! i got into them last year and i love their dynamics, especially anything that involves my beloved s10 seo dahyun :') and as per usual, i'd love to write more crossover couples

- as i've been in a writing hiatus for so long, i really don't know what themes i'll gravitate towards now. i've experienced (and consumed) a lot of new things the past months so i'm excited to see how all of that will reflect on my writing

Hello everyone! Completely forgot I participated in the last dream girls fest till I looked at my work, so here’s to my impulsive second attempt at it!

Whether it's school, personal projects, or work, a due date/time will never hold me back from being late. In fact I’m late to work almost every day. And that includes ficfests i’m afraid. But dream girls fest? No due date. No sign ups. No minimum word count. No promises. No— well call me gay and sign me up!!

Anyway, I don’t write a whole lot nowadays but I’m still in my LOONA phase. I do prefer writing ships with my biases (Lip, Yves, Haseul), but I’m open to other ships within the group. aespa’s jmj have crawled their way into my head as many of my fav authors have jumped on them so I’m comfortable writing for them. TWICE’s Jihyo with j-line.

And a ship I’m reeeally advocating for rn is Jihyo and Sejeong like I’m begging. pls prompt and write for them. I will do my best too.

If a prompt resonates with me, I might just cook. I tend to lean towards scifi, supernatural, and fantasy so I do look forward to seeing such prompts. I steer away from canonverse and slice of life b/c I’m terrible at the nuances of mind games and romance teehee. I love interrelationships, how insane plots and settings mold characters and relationships.

i am most comfortable writing twice (mina pairings) and loona (oec), but i would love to write for lsf, aespa, or ive (annyeongz). in terms of the gg canon i'm a sucker for finding tiny content moments (vlogs, behind the scenes content, vlives) and stringing them together into a coherent storyline. survival shows are also up there for me along with all the tensions they create... pd48 you will always be famous. the concept of front facing idol persona vs internal personality also creeps up on me often in my own work.

hi everyone! super excited to write for girlsfest for the first time ^w^ i've been in a little bit of a writing slump recently, but loona currently has me in a chokehold and i want to write more for them as well as dreamcatcher and twice. aus are my cup of tea - i love reading idolverse, but writing it is a different story. but i hope to challenge myself a little bit during this fest by writing things out of my comfort zone (particularly idolverse and supernatural aus, esp since the latter is pretty popular in gg fandoms)
