Round 2: Visual
Prompts should be based on a visual medium that isn't text. For example, it could be a moment between the idols that you want to be expanded, it could be a scenario with other people, or a moodboard of aesthetics you'd like to match the fic.

- Capture the image URL: Right-click on any image and select [Copy Image Address], or upload your screenshot to an image-hosting website like Imgur, then right-click and select [Copy Image Address] from there (on Imgur, the URL should end in a file type like [.jpg] or [.png])

RULES
- You are not required to have a Dreamwidth account to participate. There are no signups necessary. You may post anonymously if you want.
- There will be 3 rounds of this fest, and 1 round will be opened each week of the fest. Rounds will be left open for fills and comments, so there is no deadline for participating.
- Prompts do not have to be claimed before you write them, and they can be filled by more than one person.
- Once a round is open, you can continue submitting prompts for it until the end of the fest moderation period. (Ex: On February 17 after Round 3 opens, you’re still allowed to submit prompts to Round 1 and 2.)
- There is no minimum or maximum word count for fills. In the spirit of the fest, we encourage you to write shorter works, but any length is welcome and appreciated!
- Users are allowed to crosspost their fic on any other site, such as AO3. However, we ask that when possible, writers post the text of their fills as a reply to the prompt and include a link to an AO3 post if they choose to do so, instead of just linking to an AO3 post in their comment. This helps keep discussion in our community!
- Feel free to subscribe and join the comm to keep track of updates and view them on your reading page.
CONTENT

Kaede watches the livestream of the music show stage.
It seems so long ago since they were trainees together, her and Moka. Moka who has made her debut at last, after that horrid excuse of a survival show.
Moka-chan is mine, Kaede thinks when she sees the comment section quickly flooded by those nameless faces sharing their brainless commentary in reaction to the performance. Already there’s an explosive response to Moka’s group, the type any trainee would dream of but rarely dare believe in.
Kaede still isn’t sure why her almost company had picked the other option over her to debut, as if they had been interchangeable just because they both were from Japan, or why they only extended her trainee contract for a few months. Her Korean phone number has since stopped working, and she had to get a new number in Japan when she returned. She has no way of getting back in contact with her. Moka. Moka-chan.
She wonders if Moka mi— remembers—She knows Moka misses her. That she would be happy to hear from Kaede again. Super rookie Moka. Global phenomenon Moka. Moka who shines the brightest on the stage, whose charms are captured to their fullest by the cameras.
That sweet and kind girl who was a trainee together with Kaede once; the girl whom Kaede cared so deeply for, that Kaede relied so much upon, before Kaede realised they weren’t meant to stand on stage together. That their paths had to diverge.
Moka sings of love while wearing frills, a bright smile on her face as stage lights fill her eyes.
The screen casts Kaede’s face and the room beyond with a purplish blue light; violet is the shortest wavelength. Does this mean this is the closest she can be to Moka now?
